THE NIGHT WATCHMEN is a bloody office horror-comedy from Butcher Bro Mitchell Alieri, in a campy, exploitative style that I wish we got more of in 2016. The first trailer for the flick has dropped, and it looks like loads of goofy, goopy fun. Be warned, the trailer has NSFW elements (as all good trailers should), but they're all pretty hilarious. I'm curious that these monsters are being described as vampires because they seem to act a whole lot like zombies, but I can't wait to see how that plays out in the full film. Three inept night watchmen, aided by a young rookie and a beautiful, fearless tabloid journalist, fight an epic battle to save their lives. A mistaken warehouse delivery unleashes a horde of hungry vampires, and these unlikely heroes must not only save themselves but also stop the scourge that threatens to take over the city of Baltimore.
THE NIGHT WATCHMEN stars James Remar ("Dexter"), Ken Arnold ("House of Cards"), and Dan DeLuca ("Veep"). They are joined by Kevin Jiggetts ("Castle"), Max Gray Wilbur, Kara Luiz, Diona Reasonover, horror hottie Tiffany Shepis (SHARKNADO 2), Rain Pryor, and Matt Servitto ("Banshee").
The film is currently hunting for international sales at Cannes.
