Watchmen clippage

Well, goddamn, the marketing machine for the upcoming Zack Snyder directed, Alan Moore adapted WATCHMEN is absolutely out of control but what are we gonna do, not report on every single scrap of media that's released about it? That's crazy talk. Luckily, though, everything that's being released is pretty damn nerdgasmic. And in keeping with that, a few actual clips of the flick have made their way online and we've conveniently provided them for you at our video hub. Just click the delicious Malin Akerman as the Silk Spectre II to check them out. The film opens March 6th.

Extra Tidbit: So how bout some opening weekend numbers. 50, 60 mil?

Judging from the clip ...

... with Ozymandias and early teaser Snyder didn't stay true to the comic: WATCHMEN NEVER WERE A GROUP! But OK, I'll wait to see the movie to pass the judgement ...

FEAR 2

I know one thing...

If I have to watch one more FEAR 2 videogame trailer I'm going to blow my brains out.

Fruno

These clips look fantastic. I've been living with a copy of Watchmen in my life for over twenty years - must have read the thing that many times, too. To see Adrian's megalomania come to life is stunning - remember how complex this story is, guys. The clip of Dan and Rorschach making up is as sweet as I remember it in the comic panels. Can't wait.

bearpod's point

Guess he means the Ror & Owl conversation doesn't take place in Dan's basement and I can't remember Dan visiting Adrian in the novel. But hey, who cares? stuff looks great!

Also not sure what you're talking about. Everything in those clips I remember from the novel. Any specifics you can mention?

Anyways, looks awesome.

Too many changes

Shit, I didn't expect to watch clips of scenes that never existed in the comic. Now thats just frightening to me. The book has so many important scenes already, to add unnecessary scenes for the film makes no sense. The right thing to do is just use every comic page from the graphic novel word to word. As for the extra novella pages, I think those would work in a DVD as a short film or something.

I really hope this movie won't suck.
