Woody wants Cruz | Movie News Woody Allen, it seems, is done with current muse Scarlett Johansson. He's trading in Johansson's magnificent sweater puppets for the luscious, exotic beauty of Penelope Cruz. According to Fox News, the movie he's filming in Spain this summer will be toplined by the adorably mouse-faced starlet and will see her speaking in both English and Spanish. Considering he's now acquired a taste for the Latina blood, could it be possible he'll cast fellow Latina bombshell and JoBlo.com patron saint Salma Hayek? It would make sense considering his movies are usually jam-packed with star wattage but we'll just have to wait and see. Allen's upcoming film, CASSANDRA'S DREAM, which marks his third time filming in London, stars Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor, Tom Wilkinson and a host of A-list talent and which is in the same dramatic vein as MATCH POINT, will likely debut at Cannes.

Extra Tidbit: The only thing known about CASSANDRA'S DREAM so far is that Ewan McGregor and Colin Farrell play brothers in the film.

You notice how any time any other director hires a talent for the first time, they don't get talked about, but any time Woody Allen picks a new actress for one of his movies, everyone starts whispering bullshit?

Please.

Woody Allen is a damn talented director, and whoever he gets in his movies, he picks because they're perfect for what he NEEDS to further the movie.
