Get ready for one hell of an intense new film from ANIMAL KINGDOM writer and director David Michôd. In his latest, THE ROVER, Guy Pearce and Robert Pattinson play an unlikely pair on the hunt for a stolen car in the desolate future. It is a striking feature with two incredible performances from both Pearce and yes, Pattinson who is absolutely brilliant.

Recently I had the pleasure of chatting with Michôd and his talented leading men. I spoke to Pattinson about finding the nuances in his character, and frankly I felt he was a bit too modest about his performance. He is terrific! The three then discussed the “futuristic” approach while still keeping it very current. All three of these fine gentlemen were just terrific to talk to. And as a fan of Pearce, it is always a pleasure to see the man take on unique and interesting roles as he does in THE ROVER.

THE ROVER is currently playing in limited release and expanding this coming Friday.
