Despite starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman, the Rob Reiner directed dramedy THE BUCKET LIST has pretty much flown completely under the radar. In it, the veteran A-list Hollywood heavyweights play men afflicted with terminal cancer who escape their hospital “confinement” in order to fulfill an extensive “to-do” list before they die. Even though not a lot of people are paying attention to this film, it could sneak up on everybody and start racking up awards come awards season. It’s a decent enough story and considering both of these guys have a knack for absolutely shining in understated roles in smaller indie films, what more could you ask for? Check out the trailer over HERE. The film opens January 11th of next year (with a limited release starting Christmas Day).
