Rob Zombie asks if you’d like to see a Devil’s Rejects sequel

Last Updated on July 22, 2021

Will his latest film, 31, now complete and waiting to be released into the world, the time has come for Rob Zombie to start looking ahead and pondering what his next movie might be. There's something cinematic going on in regards to his new album The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser, but it's not clear if that would be a feature film or not.

Yesterday, the musician/filmmaker took to his official Instagram account with a question for his fans and followers. Sharing an image from THE DEVIL'S REJECTS featuring Sheri Moon Zombie, Sid Haig, and Bill Moseley as the characters Baby, Captain Spaulding, and Otis, Zombie asked,

Just curious would anybody be interested in watching another movie starring these three characters? Enough interest and anything can happen."

Given the fact that THE DEVIL'S REJECTS seems to be Zombie's most popular film (it's definitely my favorite), the response has, of course, been overwhelmingly positive.

Could Zombie really be considering returning to the world of REJECTS and HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES? Perhaps, but fans probably shouldn't get their hopes up too high just yet. After all, this isn't the first time Zombie has asked if there would be interest in a sequel; THE DEVIL'S REJECTS 2 was listed on a "What should the next movie be?" poll posted on his website back in 2010, along with a remake of THE BLOB (which is now in the hands of Simon West), his TYRANNOSAURUS REX project that seems to have died at Dimension, and a feature expansion of his GRINDHOUSE trailer, WEREWOLF WOMEN OF THE SS. Instead of any of those, his next movie was 2012's THE LORDS OF SALEM.
