Marvel’s Helstrom canceled by Hulu after one season!

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

In a totally unsurprising move, Variety reports that Hulu has canceled the horror-themed Marvel show Helstrom after just one season. With Disney+ adding more shows that are directly connected to the MCU, this move seemed inevitable, in a similar way the cancelation of the Netflix shows like Daredevil and Luke Cage were as well (even if the Netflix shows tangentially connected to the MCU, they still weren't as directly tied to the films as the upcoming WandaVision or Ms. Marvel will be).

Anyway, here's the official synopsis for the show:

As the son and daughter of a mysterious and powerful serial killer, Helstrom follows Daimon (Tom Austen) and Ana Helstrom (Sydney Lemmon), and their complicated dynamic, as they track down the worst of humanity — each with their own attitude and skills.

Meanwhile, Helstrom is streaming on Hulu right now, if you were interested!

So what do you guys think? Fans of the show? If so, were you looking forward to a second season? Either way, sound off below!
