Marvel Studios is excited to welcome everyone into the Quantum Realm for the first look at Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Until now, all we’ve seen for the movie is a poster depicting Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly), and new addition to the superhero crew, Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton), in a new suit. Also pictured on the poster is Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors), who’s being set-up as the next Marvel super-villain, following the debut of his variant in Loki. At Comic Con, attendees got to see an early trailer, but it’s taken months for Marvel to finally release the finished version, which comes out ahead of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Notably, this is not exactly the same trailer that was shown at Comic Con, which struck a more comedic vibe than this more serious look at the third Ant-Man film.

In the trailer (scored by a nice remix of Elton John’s “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road”) everyone is sucked into the Quantum Realm. We get a quick glimpse of Bill Murray, who, notably, is nowhere near as prominent in this trailer as he was in the one that played in San Diego this summer before the Being Mortal backlash. The footage also shows the citizens of the Quantum Realm, which appears to be a melting pot of different species. The trailer ends with the arrival of Kang the Conqueror, who makes Scott an offer that will be difficult to refuse.

Peyton Reed returns to direct Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which also sees the return of Michael Douglas as Dr. Hank Pym and Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet Van Dyne. Here’s the official synopsis:

In the film, which officially kicks off phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Super-Hero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp. Together, with Hope’s parents Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible. Jonathan Majors joins the adventure as Kang. Director Peyton Reed returns to direct the film; Kevin Feige and Stephen Broussard produce.

In addition to the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania trailer, Marvel dropped a brand-new poster for the upcoming sequel. You can check it out below:
