Castle in the Ground trailer delivers chilling drama amidst an Opioid Crisis

Gravitas Ventures today debuted a trailer for CASTLE IN THE GROUND, an upcoming thriller that finds its characters as victims of the ongoing opioid epidemic that continues to claim tens of thousands of lives throughout the world each year.

Directed and written for the screen by filmmaker Joey Klein, the film stars Alex Wolff (HEREDITARY, JUMANJI franchise) as a grieving teenager who befriends his charasmatic but troubled next-door neighbor Ana (Imogen Poots), only to become ensnared in a world of addiction and violence as the opioid epidemic takes hold of their small town. Keir Gilchrist also stars in the role of Polo Boy. while Neve Cambell is set to play a tragic-looking character named Rebecca.

CASTLE IN THE GROUND will make its On Demand premiere May 15, 2020.
