Star Wars R2-D2 BB-8

With the Electronic Entertainment Expo in full swing, we're going to see A LOT of gaming news this week! For us Star Wars fans, the gaming front has been a little dry the past few years, but that's going to change. Of course, Battlefront has been available for some time now but EA released a 'Look Ahead' video that shows us more content coming to Battlefront, as well as a few quick glimpses from Battlefront 2 (note the First Order Tie Fighter), as well as some mo-cap sessions from Respawn's upcoming Star Wars game, and a brief glimpse of Visceral's upcoming adventure title. Take a look!

The most recent interation of Battlefront was a fun "pick up and play" game, but hardly had the lasting power of most great Star Wars titles. I'm hoping that's rectified with the sequel, but at the very least, we'll have titles from different developers that give us a different experience. I absolutely love (most of) Visceral's Dead Space trilogy, so I can't wait to see what that have in-store for us regarding the Star Wars universe!
