Wayward Pines Season Two <a data-cke-saved-href=

I probably don't need to say this, but if you haven't watched the first season of Wayward Pines yet, you'll want to avoid the following because there will be spoilers. While I wouldn't count Wayward Pines among my favourites, I was particularly surprised with how much I actually enjoyed the first season. It was fun, mind-bendy, and featured a very fun cast. The event-series was initially billed as a one-time deal, but a combination of above average ratings and reception led to the development of a second season. The new season will pick up the threads that the series left dangling, and our first look at that new season recently debuted at WonderCon and featured fresh footage as well as some interviews with cast & crew.

Check it out!

The ten-episode second season of Wayward Pines is set for a May 25, 2016 debut and will feature the return of those characters who survived the events of the first season, as well as newcomers like Jason Patric as Dr. Theo Yedlin, a confident and driven surgeon who "awakens from suspended animation and finds himself in the middle of this rebellion, as he tries to understand what Wayward Pines really is and help preserve the endangered human race," and Djimon Hounsou as CJ Mitchum, an original resident of Wayward Pines who is "a historian for the town with extensive knowledge of its complex origins. He’s also the one person who can provide a unique bridge between the current world of Wayward Pines and the previous world that humans inhabited."

Are you looking forward to another season of Wayward Pines?
