Abigail Breslin is on the run in Tyler Shields’ Final Girl trailer

Any news on the Abigail Breslin-starring thriller FINAL GIRL is few and far between as the last time we had the chance to report on Tyler Shields’ film was way back in February with these sales posters. Fortunately for us, that has all changed as we just got our hands on a new trailer for the flick that dishes out plenty of carnage at the hands of an axe-wielding Abigail Breslin. Dig it below!

Written by Adam Prince, Stephen Scarlata, Alejandro Seri, and Johnny Silver and helmed by celebrity photographer turned first-time director Tyler Shields, FINAL GIRL chronicles the tale of a pack of teenage boys who choose the wrong girl to be the victim of their "initiation."

Loner Veronica is new to school, shy and vulnerable the perfect target for a group of teenage boys who lure girls into the woods to hunt and kill them for sport. It’s only after they get her alone that she turns the tables on them, escaping and revealing she’s armed and knows how to defend herself. Little do they know, Veronica is an assassin-in-training, and she’s chosen killing these boys as her final test. When the dust clears, Veronica will find out if she can be the final girl these boys ever have a chance to hurt.

Abigail Breslin stars as the lead, with Alexander Ludwig, Wes Bentley, Logan Huffman, Connor Paolo, Francesca Eastwood, and Michael Trevino rounding out the cast. Hopefully we’ll have an update on a release for this one sooner rather than later!
