Blade Runner's Joanna Cassidy seeing Visions for Blumhouse

We've been keeping close tabs on Blumhouse and director Kevin Greutert's VISIONS, sharing the casting of Isla Fisher back in November of last year and reporting on Anson Mount and Gillian Jacobs joining the cast last month. It was only yesterday when we brought you the news that uber-hottie Eva Longoria had also signed on to star in the supernatural horror pic, and today we have even more casting news to share with you as Deadline is reporting that BLADE RUNNER actress Joanna Cassidy has joined the ever-growing cast in an unspecified role.

VISIONS is directed by Kevin Greutert from a script by Lucas Sussman. Universal is set to distribute the Jason Blum-produced pic as the latest in the companies’ fruitful microbudget genre collaborations.

The story revolves around expectant mother Julia (Fisher), who is plagued by strange and terrifying visions of a sinister hooded figure only she can see when she and her husband (Mount) move to the countryside. To protect her unborn child, she sets out to uncover the truth about what is haunting her as her husband becomes increasingly concerned for her well-being.
