Just a couple days ago we were treated to a pretty badass one-sheet for the upcoming horror anthology V/H/S, which can be found to the right, and now we’ve got a brand new red-band trailer for the flick to drool over! You know when you hear ‘red-band’ we mean business!

When a group of petty criminals is hired by a mysterious party to retrieve a rare piece of found footage from a rundown house in the middle of nowhere, they soon realize that the job isn’t going to be as easy as they thought. In the living room, a lifeless body holds court before a hub of old television sets, surrounded by stacks upon stacks of VHS tapes. As they search for the right one, they are treated to a seemingly endless number of horrifying videos, each stranger than the last.

Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, David Bruckner, Tyler Gillett, Justin Martinez, Glenn McQuaid, Joe Swanberg, Chad Villella, Ti West and Adam Wingard all have a hand in directing V/H/S, which stars Joe Swanberg, Calvin Reeder, Adam Wingard, Sophia Takal, Kate Lyn Sheil, Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Jas Sams (below), Chad Villella and Tyler Gillett. The film will be dropping onto VOD starting August 31st followed by a limited theatrical run starting October 5th.
