Last Updated on August 5, 2021

It seems Chiller TV are on quite a role, doesn’t it? I literally just got done telling you about their GHOUL adaptation and here I am to tell you about another project Chiller TV has on the way. Low and behold, it’s another adaptation!

According to the guys over at Bloody-Disgusting Chiller TV will next be working on an adaptation of Michael Laimo’s DEAD SOULS. They’ve already tapped the writing/directing duo of John Doolan and Colin Theys to tackle this one. Perhaps you recognize the team of Doolan and Theys? Well that’s probably because these are the same guys that tackled Chiller TV’s REMAINS adaptation! Way to keep it in the family fellas. Peep the rundown for DEAD SOULS:

On his 18th birthday, Johnny Petrie learns he was adopted when he inherits a farm in Maine, abandoned for the 18 years since his natural family died at the hands of his father, the local preacher. Eager for a new life, he leaves home to start over in his new dwelling. However, as he digs into his past, he soon uncovers the horrifying details of his father’s questionable teachings. In …a frightening revelation, he also learns that his return has revived decades-old forces trapped in the home and sets in motion a heart-stopping finale to a ritual that already claimed the lives of his family.

Chiller will be re-teaming with Synthetic Cinema for DEAD SOULS, which is set to start filming this April in Connecticut. We’ll be on the lookout for more DEAD SOULS updates as this thing starts filming so be sure to check back soon for more.
