In the years since the release of THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT, many a Blair Witch fan has taken their own journey through the woods near Burkittsville, Maryland. That was even the basis of the first sequel, BLAIR WITCH 2. All of the fans completed their hikes without notable incident, but as the new Adam Wingard-helmed sequel BLAIR WITCH will soon be showing us, something has gotten the Blair Witch stirred back up in a major way.

Thanks to a new website, you can now have your own encounter with the Blair Witch without leaving the comfort of your own home and venturing into the forests of Maryland. The Blair Witch Experience drops you right into the cursed woods in the middle of the night, letting you look around a 360 degree landscape filled with spooky sights and sounds.

If you want to know what lurks in the Black Hills Forest, simply going to BlairWitch.com/experience/360 is the best possible option.

Then go see BLAIR WITCH when it's released on September 16th. Directed by Wingard from a screenplay by his YOU'RE NEXT / THE GUEST writer Simon Barrett, BLAIR WITCH has the following synopsis:

A group of college students venture into the Black Hills Forest in Maryland to uncover the mysteries surrounding the disappearance of James’ sister who many believe is connected to the legend of the Blair Witch. At first the group is hopeful, especially when a pair of locals offer to act as guides through the dark and winding woods, but as the endless night wears on, the group is visited by a menacing presence. Slowly, they begin to realize the legend is all too real and more sinister than they could have imagined.
