Gothica adds Melissa George to its cast as a cunning villainess

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Australian beauty Melissa George has joined the ensemble cast of ABC’s ambitious new horror series “Gothica”, which pits some of literature’s greatest monsters against one another in modern times.

According to Deadline, George – best known for roles in such flicks as 30 DAYS OF NIGHT and THE AMITYVILLE HORROR – will play Fiona Hunter, the series’ most formidable force, and everyone – from Grace Van Helsing, to Dorian Gray to Victor Frankenstein – will find their mettle and savvy tested by this deliciously cunning woman.

Seth Gable (“Fringe”) has also joined the show, playing Roderick Usher, the district attorney and heir to the once-powerful Usher family who is carrying secrets. Wonder if his house is going to fall down at some point…

George and Gable will be joined by Janet Montgomery, Tom Ellis, Tracie Thoms, Chris Egan and Emma Booth in “Gothica” which doesn’t yet have an air date. (Could hit the tube as early as this fall, however.)
