Halloween Horror Nights announces Trick 'r Treat Mazes

Living here in Florida doesn't have many benefits as a horror fan. But there are a few shining lights such as Spooky Empire's Weekend of Horror and Halloween Horror Nights over at Universal. And if you are a fan of Universal's Halloween Horror Nights, like I am, then you'll be excited to hear that the theme park's attraction this year has just added one of hell of a classic horror film to its line-up.

Beginning September 14, Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort will bring Legendary Pictures’ cult Halloween classic TRICK 'R TREAT to life in all-new Halloween Horror Nights mazes.

The TRICK 'R TREAT maze will construct Warren Valley, Ohio on Halloween night to celebrate the holiday’s dark traditions. Recreating some of the anthology’s most iconic scenes, the disturbing new maze invites guests to experience some of the film’s most grisly scenes and encounter hauntingly familiar characters. This includes walking through Mr. Kreeg’s infamous house, watching college students viciously transform into bloodthirsty werewolves and dismember the town, as well as come face-to-face with Sam – the spirit of Halloween.

Personally, I know I can't wait to check out this new attraction this Halloween. Michael Dougherty's horror anthology is one of my favorite horror movies. I'm loving the idea of creeping around Kreeg's house and I swear to God I want a little Sam all for myself. You better believe that if I ever have a kid, the little dude is going to dress as Sam year-round and scare the neighbors.

You can check out the event's video announcement below along with a fun poster for the new attraction. Additional details about Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights will be revealed soon.
