Way back in October I told you all about an evil witch flick heading our way called THE WICKED. Don’t worry, I don’t expect you guys to remember that… what with all the drugs and booze I’m sure you’re consuming. That’s why today I’ve decided to give you all a refresher before dropping some new goods on you.
THE WICKED is coming our way from director Peter Winther and writer Michael Vickerman. It’s your basic run-of-the-mill evil with flick but here’s the rundown anyway:
When a girl goes missing in a town with a history of mysterious disappearances, local teenagers recall an old legend about a witch who lives in a house in the woods and devours the flesh of children; the young for youth, the strong for power, and the pretty for beauty.
On a dare the teens venture to the house to lay to rest the nightmarish tales of their childhood once and for all. What they discover is the legend is true. And the very things that have raised them to the top of the high school pecking order will now turn them into victims for The Wicked.
Now today we’ve got our hands on a brand new sales trailer for THE WICKED as well as a new one-sheet… Actually it’s the first trailer and one-sheet period! Excited? You should be! THE WICKED, which stars Justin Deeley, Devon Werkheiser, Diana Hopper (below) and Nicole Forester, will hopefully make a splash at Cannes… or at least catch somebody’s attention. If that happens you can bet we’ll be right here to tell you about it.
