Poster and trailer for IFC Midnight’s Haunt

Back in September we learned that IFC Midnight had scooped up the US rights to Mac Carter's supernatural thriller HAUNT, and today we have word as to when we will finally be able to check this scary looking little flick out, as well as a look at the films newest poster and the trailer.

IFC Midnight has announced that HAUNT will be hitting VOD and Digital Download February 7th and in limited theatrical release March 7th. HAUNT centers around a boy who gets involved with a mysterious neighbour when his family moves into a new home and unwittingly summons a demon.

A family of five moves into a beautiful, sprawling dream home. One problem: it’s cursed, having caused the deaths of the previous family to occupy it, leaving only one survivor (Jacki Weaver). The moody 18-year-old son and his mysterious new neighbor/girlfriend inadvertently awaken something in the house while also violently shaking the many skeletons in the many closets.

The film stars Harrison Gilbertson, Liana Liberato, Jackie Weaver and, judging from the still above, my ex-wife makes an appearance. I kid, I kid!
