Sly and Arnie vehicle The Tomb finds itself a prison warden

I think it is a pretty safe bet we’re all excited for THE TOMB, where we shall have Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger starring in a bad-ass flick. Now nothing against THE EXPENDABLES where they appeared together and will be appearing together in the sequel, this is a bit different. Basically this is the dream project we’ve been dreaming about since the 80’s.

Well the film’s producer Mark Canton (IMMORTALS) recently spoke on the Matthew Aaron Show and revealed the latest casting news from the film. We now have a warden of the prison with James Caviezel! Mark stated: “[Jim] Caviezel will be playing the role of the Warden of the prison in which Schwarzenegger & Stallone attempt to escape from.”

I think it’ll be a safe bet that Caviezel will be the antagonist, and I am sure he’ll make a good one. He is perhaps best known for his role as Jesus in Mel Gibson’s THE PASSION, but he’s done some interesting films including the under seen OUTLANDER. Personally I actually quite enjoy him on the CBS show ‘Person Of Interest’, and I am for this casting! Can’t wait to hear more about who else will be in this!

Plot: THE TOMB follows Ray Breslin (Stallone) who is the world’s foremost authority on structural security. He’s analyzed every high security prison and has gained a vast array of survival skills. But all Ray’s ingenuity and knowledge are about to be put to work in the most challenging test he’s ever faced: escaping from the master prison of his own design.
