Director Tricia Lee's creature feature BLOOD HUNTERS (formerly known as ONE DROP) will be making its world premiere at Horror Channel FrightFest in London this afternoon, and while FrightFest attendees count down the minutes until the screening we have the film's trailer and poster art to share right here.
Scripted by Corey Brown, BLOOD HUNTERS is
a character-driven genre film about a single mother who wakes up in a medical facility to find that everyone is dead and she's somehow nine months pregnant.
Lara Gilchrist, Benjamin Arthur, Torri Higginson, Julian Richings, Mark Taylor, and Peter Blankenstein star.
Lee produced BLOOD HUNTERS with Chris Luckhardt. Michael Baker and Brigitte Kingsley served as executive producers. International sales are being handled by High Octane Pictures.
The trailer seems to promise that there will be characters trapped in a hospital by blood-sucking monsters, which sounds like the recipe for a fun time, while the mysterious pregnancy angle adds an extra disturbing level to the whole thing. BLOOD HUNTERS looks like one worth checking out to me. Here's hoping its FrightFest screening goes well.
