Huston in the hood

Remember that douchebag King Richard who kind of dominated the Third Crusade and became known as Richard The Lionheart because of it? Neither do I. Regardless, Danny Huston, he of “son of John Huston” fame has been cast as the legendary king in Ridley Scott’s upcoming ROBIN HOOD. As we all know, Russell Crowe is starring as the prince of thieves and Cate Blanchett is playing his beloved Maid Marian. The picture has been under a lot of scrutiny since it’s inception, but the addition of a high calibre actor like Huston can’t hurt. He’s kind of in the same category as let’s say Ray Winstone, in that he’s not necessarily a leading man, but he stars in some kick-ass films, THE CONSTANT GARDENER, CHILDREN OF MEN, and the upcoming EDGE OF DARKNESS among them.
