I want to go to there: The Green Dragon Pub in Hobbiton

“A place to drink, a place to meet, a place to rest your hairy feet.”

What is this place? None other than The Green Dragon, of course.

I’m a girl who likes to find a good pub with tasty and new beer finds. But as a movie fan, the best place to have a drink with friends would be The Green Dragon. The hobbit hideaway is now a real thing that people can experience first hand. If you head on down to Hobbiton in New Zealand, then you can grab a brew in the same place as Frodo, Sam, Pippin, and Merry.

Hobbiton has been open to the public since 2002. Manager Russell Alexander estimates that after the release of THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY they could get as many as 100,000 new visitors over the next year. When the pub was opened on November 29th, all the actors who played dwarves (except Richard Armitage) in THE HOBBIT came in to have a drink.

Check out the pictures below. I hope that one day I get the opportunity to experience this for myself.
