It's probably safe to say that what most fans are looking forward to in JURASSIC WORLD: DOMINION is the return of Jeff Goldblum as Dr. Ian Malcolm, Sam Neill as Dr. Alan Grant, and Laura Dern as Dr. Ellie Sattler. The original JURASSIC PARK trio are currently in the midst of filming on the Colin Trevorrow film, but they've also taken the time to promote voter registration and participation in the upcoming American presidential election.

Jeff Goldblum joined forces with HeadCount in order to urge voters to register to vote, check their registration, or request absentee or mail-in ballots. The actor promised that if 1,000 people did just that via a link he provided, he would recreate a scene from JURASSIC PARK. Well, the people have spoken and Jeff Goldblum has made good on his word. Together with Sam Neill, Goldblum recreated the Chaos Theory moment from the original film, all while a bemused Laura Dern looks on. Not only that, but Goldblum promised another JURASSIC PARK recreation if they get 1,000 more voting actions through his link.

Colin Trevorrow has said that the original JURASSIC PARK trio will have some major roles in JURASSIC WORLD: DOMINION. "I think people may be underestimating the size and importance of Laura Dern and Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum’s characters in this movie," Trevorrow said. "It is very much an ensemble. That element – the ability to take these beloved characters from almost 30 years now and understand how they interact with each other in the context of a world we’ve really never seen before and not been able to witness until now is very exciting for me." The director also teased that JURASSIC WORLD: DOMINION "is the movie I’ve been waiting to make since the beginning. It’s the one we have spent the past two movies building to. It really was part of a larger story and part of a design." The film started shooting earlier this year, but like most every other project out there, it was halted due to COVID-19. Production resumed earlier this summer with a hefty set of safety protocols designed to keep the cast and crew safe.

JURASSIC WORLD: DOMINION is currently slated for a July 11, 2021 release.
