With a good decade or more separating each of the three (so far) STAR WARS trilogies, it still feels a little unreal that we'll be sitting down for a brand new STAR WARS film each and every year for the foreseeable future. Interspersed between the main saga installments will be standalone stories set in the STAR WARS universe, the first of which will be Gareth Edwards' ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY which will show us just how those Rebel's stole the plans for the first Death Star. We've been anticipating a new ROGUE ONE trailer for a while now, and not only is it finally here, but it's brought a certain Dark Lord of the Sith along with it.

ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY is set for a December 16, 2016 release.
