You know marketing is at an all-time high when we have to reference one scene in a trailer in order to differentiate it from all the rest. The last bits of promotional material on AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON were a pair of TV spots in which Hawkeye actually owns up to his shortcomings. This new trailer doesn't throw a whole lot of fresh stuff our way, but it does gives us some nice back-and-forth moments between Black Widow and Captain America, who's relationship solidified in CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER. Thor may be the only character who can handle his hammer, but Black Widow can certainly rock the hell out of Captain America's shield in this final trailer!
Seeing the same money shots in each trailer actually encourages me to think that writer/director Joss Whedon and Co. have a lot more in store for audiences than they're willing to share. At this point, there's no question we're all heading out to see this flick. I'd like to think that the trailers and TV spots are just a reminder that something awesome this way comes. Fortunately for us, the wait won't be much longer!
AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON hits theaters on May 1st!
