Dark Side trailer

I’ll be honest, I zoned out of “Family Guy” a few years back due to the fact I’m super classy and watch “Mad Men” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm” on Sundays now, but even I got a pretty good laugh out of this new trailer for the show’s next STAR WARS special, the EMPIRE-spoofing SOMETHING, SOMETHING, SOMETHING, SOMETHING DARK SIDE. Wait, that was one too many SOMETHINGs.

I feel like “Family Guy” is at its best when doing stuff like this, rather than trying frantically to tie together an episode based on completely obscure and non sequitur references. I think when you just go all the way with it, you get better results, and I’d watch them remake any number of classics “in glorious 2D.”
