There's been a surprisingly small amount of video marketing from Walt Disney and Brad Bird's (MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: GHOST PROTOCOL) latest endeavor, TOMORROWLAND, given that the film is 2 months away from a theatrical release. So far we've had a teaser and a big game spot teasing us with a magical ring, a land of tomorrow, and a George Clooney. It looks like Disney is ready to pick up the slack on the story about a bright, optimistic teen and a former boy genius embarking on an adventure to unearth the secrets of “Tomorrowland,” as today we've got a good look at a new poster (down below) and the promise of a brand new trailer to hit on Monday.
At this moment, director Brad Bird is the biggest factor pulling me into the world of TOMORROWLAND. Writer Damon Lindelof (WORLD WAR Z, PROMETHEUS) has been hit or miss for me, but Bird has yet to direct a bad film in my eyes. The man knows how to put his characters in some fun situations and inject some energy into the proceedings. Check back Monday to see if we get some of that energy in the latest trailer!
