EXCL: Never Back Down!

I honestly had no idea what NEVER BACK DOWN was until I saw the trailer before RAMBO. And considering I was getting ready to watch a movie very much in the 80s style of filmmaking, I was definitely intrigued by NEVER BACK DOWN, which is very much a KARATE KID movie. There’s the new kid in town (Sean Faris), the dickhead jock (Cam Giagandet), the “out of his league” love interest (Amber Heard) and the foreign mentor (Djimon Hounsou) teaching him how to fight. Sadly there does not seem to be any Billy Zabka. That’s OK, I can hold out hope for an uncredited cameo.

We’ve got an exclusive featurette from NEVER BACK DOWN today all about the art of the takedown. I’m pretty good at the art of the takeout (Wendy’s, Taco Bell, et. al.) but I don’t know these mixed martial arts takedowns. Frankly it’s all very frightening to me. I’m doing just fine right here without a large man’s biceps pinching my jugular closed. But hey, that’s just me. That said, there are some wicked moves highlighted in the clip below and if you want to either a) see a guy get his ass kicked or b) learn how to do some ass-kicking yourself, you’d do right to watch it.
