Christopher McDonald's HAPPY GILMORE villain, Shooter McGavin, is back, and he's ready to fire his finger guns at the competition for a new teaser trailer for PGA Tour 2K21.

Joining McDonald for the laugh-out-loud teaser are athlete Justin Thomas, WWE superstar The Miz, and rapper ScHoolboy Q. As the trailer plays on, and a competitive round of golf transforms into a cause for violence and unbridled shouting, we find Shooter once again devolving into the biggest sore loser the game of golf has ever seen. It's really quite the scene. One might even say that this is a stroke of genius on behalf of the game's marketing department.

You can watch the teaser trailer for PGA Tour 2K21 below:

HAPPY GILMORE was released in 1996, during the Salad days of Adam Sandler's long-standing career. The classic comedy tells the story of Happy, a rejected hockey player who takes his skills to the golf course when his grandmother's house goes up for sale, forcing her to live in an abusive adult community. As he makes his way up the ranks, Happy finds himself going up against Shooter McGavin, an obnoxious pro golfer who will stop at nothing to defeat Happy and claim the top prize. What happens next is a rivalry that will continue to be appreciated by cinephiles for generations.

Unfortunately, it appears that neither Shooter nor Happy Gilmore will appear as playable characters in PGA Tour 2K21. That said, the game does feature 15 licensed courses from the PGA tour, a course designer mode, commentary, and 12 professional golfers. Plus, there's always a chance that Happy and Shooter could arrive as DLC sometime down the road.

PGA Tour 2K21 will hit the links on Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC via Steam on August 21st.
