Keanu Reeves added to cast of Toy Story 4

While on THE TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JIMMY FALLON, Tim Allen shared some terrific news. According to Buzz Lightyear himself, JOHN WICK's very own Keanu Reeves will be joining the cast of the highly anticipated TOY STORY 4.

That's right, all of our toy box buddies are coming back once again with some brand new adventures, and each new cast announcement is more exciting than the last. As of right now, the cast includes usual suspects Tim Allen and Tom Hanks, as well as Jordan Peele, Keegan-Michael Key, Patricia Arquette, and Michael Keaton. 

As reported via Deadline, Allen had this to say: “Actually, a little inside story [about Reeves]: Even he said — gentle, wonderful guy that he is — ‘This sounds too much like Buzz Lightyear.’ And his character does have an edge to that. And the guy said, ‘So we calmed him down a little bit,’ and they reminded me his toy is only that big.”

TOY STORY 4 hits theaters in Summer of 2019. While the film is celebrating its 23rd anniversary of the original film this year, Reeves will be voicing an animated character for the very first time.
