With only a week to go before SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME hits theaters and only a handful of millions away from topping AVATAR at the global box office, it was reported last week that Marvel and Disney planned to offer a new screening AVENGERS: ENDGAME in theaters this weekend, fit with some special looks and unseen footage. Now there’s an official name for the small re-release, and Marvel is calling it the Bring Back event, which means to give audiences one last chance to see the movie before it leaves theaters for good…as if by the snap of someone’s fingers.

The press release from Disney announced the event today, revealing that anyone who sees the movie at a participating location will get to see it with a special introduction by co-director Anthony Russo, on top of getting to see an unfinished deleted scene. Also attached to the event will be a special sneak peek at FAR FROM HOME, a movie that will be in theaters a few days later.

Perhaps the biggest reason for fans to hunt down a screening will be the chance to collect an exclusive poster that’s being released, which features the Iron Gauntlet the Avengers crafted to reverse Thanos’ devastation, with the gut-punching tagline “We Love You 3000” at the bottom. They really know how to get us right in the emotions, don’t they?

This Friday will mark exactly two months since the movie came out on April 28, and even though it's the second-biggest movie ever both domestically and globally, every movie has a theatrical shelf life. What with theaters having to make room for movies like TOY STORY 4 and FAR FROM HOME there probably won't be many locations showing the movie much after this weekend. This little event is clearly Disney's last-ditch effort to add some extra dollars to that box office, and at least get it as close to AVATAR's total as possible (ENDGAME has $2.75 billion vs. AVATAR's $2.78 billion), even if the odds of passing it are slim.

As for the actual content they'll show during the screenings, who's to say. The deleted scene could either be really cool or just the kind we would get on the home release, and the sneak peek at FAR FROM HOME may add some new insight into the movie, or it will simply be an extended TV spot featuring all the footage we've already seen. For a lot of fans, that collectible poster will be the big reason to head back to theaters, as well as tease of an end-credits scene (though that may be the "sneak peek"), if not also to be as prepared as ever to see the aftermath of ENDGAME in the new Spider-Man movie.

AVENGERS: ENDGAME's Bring Back event is in theaters for this weekend only, and SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME hits theaters July 2.
