Ron Burgundy stands tall with the Channel 4 News Team in this new poster for Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues

Hey everybody, shut the hell up! Ron Burgundy's on!

And standing tall at that. Flanked by his Channel 4 News Team minions, the titular star of ANCHORMAN 2: THE LEGEND CONTINUES, Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell) is ready to take on the world as he and his cohorts move into the world of global news. Returning castmembers Paul Rudd, Steve CarellDavid Koechner, and Christina Applegate are joined by a shit-ton of guest stars including Kristen Wiig, Harrison Ford, Meagan Good, James Marsden, Jim Carrey, Nicole Kidman, Sacha Baron Cohen, Amy Poehler, John C. Reilly, Dylan Baker, Greg Kinnear, Tina Fey, Kirsten Dunst, and LIAM NEESONS!!! That's some serious casting awesomeness right there.

He's kind of a big deal:

I've said it before, but ANCHORMAN may well be my favorite comedy of all time. I'm still waiting on test results, but it's looking to be the case. So, naturally, I'm game for a sequel and then some, but obviously concerned about how well it can live up to the original. However, based on the latest trailers, I am feeling pretty confident that these guys have got another winner on their hands.

ANCHORMAN 2: THE LEGEND CONTINUES hits on December 20, 2013.
