New SUICIDE SQUAD plot details have surfaced over at Latino-Review, including info on The Joker and Lex Luthor's roles in the David Ayer's movie. While obviously none of this info has been confirmed, the site's report is filled with major spoilers, so some of you may want avert your eyes.

Last chance to avoid spoilers!

Joker Harley Quinn

According to sources, the major players in SUICIDE SQUAD will be The Joker, Harley Quinn and Deadshot. Early in the film, Harley Quinn and Deadshot will both be captured and taken to a prison run by Amanda Waller after Quinn (who is trying to break Joker out of Arkham) screws up Deadshot's assassination attempt on an inmate being transported from the psychiatric hospital.

Boomerang is apparently already a member of the Suicide Squad, but he probably won't be too happy he has to work with Deadshot since he is the person who killed Boomerang's father.

After being implanted with explosive devices, the villains are sent on a mission to prevent Lex Luthor from purchasing bio weaponry, which turns out to be Enchantress. It's suggested Luthor wants to use her magical abilities, but the team kidnaps her and takes her to an underground area in the prison that is filled with genetic freaks, including King Shark.

Suicide Squad Rick Flagg

Rick Flagg will be the good guy in SUICIDE SQUAD. That is until it is revealed at the end of the film he's actually a villain working with Rick Flagg Senior, and they want to use Amanda Waller's inmates as weapons. Sources says the "twist" (and changes to the character) might be the reason why Tom Hardy decided to leave the project.

As for the Joker, he'll be spending most of the movie locked up in a jail cell à la Hannibal Lecter in THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS, however he (as well as many of the other villains) will break out of the prison during a riot at the end of the movie.

Most of these possible plot details (not sure what to make of the Rick Flagg twist) sound awesome to me, but what are your thoughts on what might be going on in SUICIDE SQUAD?

SUICIDE SQUAD will be in theaters on August 5, 2016.
