As Star Wars fever continues to spread across the globe, fans of the legendary sci-fi saga continue to find their own ways of celebrating the upcoming release of STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER. For some, a Star Wars movie marathon is precisely what Doctor Aphra ordered, while others have chosen to perfect their Ewok-inspired dance moves for the upcoming celebration. For the talented crew over at Dumb Drum, a sweded, shot-for-shot, low-budget homemade remake of the Rise of Skywalker trailer is their way of firing a shot for the newest chapter of the Star Wars canon.

You can check out Dumb Drum's version of the Rise of Skywalker trailer below, which is bound to give you those BE KIND REWIND vibes, in addition to showcasing some superior homemade sound effects.

The above video contains music and sound by Hawk Duncan, in addition to a raft of actors who are all undoubtedly jazzed about the Rise of Skywalker's upcoming release. I mean, you'd have to be to work on a project like this, right? Truth be told, I really dig what Dumb Drum has created here. What's that old saying? Sometimes less is more? Yeah, that's pretty much how I feel about this scrappy production and all the pieces that amount to one impressive whole. Did that sound dirty? Heh, sorry not sorry about that.

To check out a side-by-side comparison of the original trailer and Dumb Drum's sweded version, you can check out the video posted below:
