The JoBlo Sunday Night Movie Chat: The Expendables!

This week’s chat is dedicated to what was easily my favorite movie from 2010. A super violent blockbuster that was a love letter to the action movies I grew up on, The Expendables is one of the most fun times I’ve ever had at a theater. So needless to say, I’m expecting a hell of a fun time in this week’s JoBlo Sunday Night Movie Chat!

Since last October, yours truly has been hosting The JoBlo Sunday Night Movie Chat every Sunday night at 7pm EST. We’ve discussed many great flicks including Aliens, Die Hard, The Big Lebowski and Cloverfield. It’s a great opportunity to discuss flicks with your fellow schmoes live. Opinions will be shared. Thoughts will be provoked. Fun will be had by all.

All you need to do is head to OUR CHATROOM at 7pm EST and make sure to log in with your MFC username. Come prepared with talking points or questions, or feel free to lurk and and see what everyone else is discussing. The regulars are extremely friendly people that will definitely make you feel welcome. And believe me, they are very, very cool schmoes.

And please remember this. Be respectful of others and their opinions during the chat. It’s great to have multiple opinions of movies in the chat. I love that. What I don’t love is for people to be insulted or badmouthed about their opinions. Directly insulting someone will not be put up with.

I grew up on the action movies of the 80’s and early 90’s, so needless to say The Expendables was easily one of my most anticipated movies of all time. From the who’s who cast of action stars, to the over the top action scenes, to Hale Caesar’s INSANELY AWESOME shotgun, this movie is just pure fun!
