Twenty years we have been waiting to return to the special world of Harry Dunn and Lloyd Christmas. It’s a place where the beer flows like wine and the women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano. As we wait impatiently for the first trailer for DUMB AND DUMBER TO to drop, the first teaser has dropped in the form of a seven second Vine video.
Sure, it is essentially the teaser poster with a sound bite attached, but I am almost positive that is a newly recorded take of Jim Carrey saying “I like it a lot” and Jeff Daniels infectious laugh. Just hearing those sounds together brings a ridiculous smile to my face.
Just like the first film, DUMB AND DUMBER TO will have a subplot involving criminal mischief. Instead of a kidnapping this time, Harry and Lloyd are off to find a kidney donor. Hijinks are bound to ensue. Hopefully, we get the full trailer sometime very soon, likely with A MILLION WAYS TO DIE IN THE WEST at the end of the month.
DUMB AND DUMBER TO will hit theaters on November 14, 2014.
