Twilight Zone scribe

It looks like Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way and Warner Bros. are one step closer to bringing their TWILIGHT ZONE movie to the big screen. Little known Rand Ravich–who directed THE ASTRONAUT’S WIFE–has been hired to write the screenplay for the long-gestating film based on the iconic sixties television show of the same name. Many may scratch their heads with the announcement of Ravich as the writer, but Leo DiCaprio has proven himself to be a man of particularly good taste, so we should all breathe easy. Now wether they decide to mimic the episodic nature of the original series remains to be seen. The previous bigscreen version of the show, 1983’s TWILIGHT ZONE: THE MOVIE, featured segments produced and directed by Steven Spielberg and John Landis, so perhaps this film will take a similar approach.
