METAL MEN has been set up as a project for Warner Bros. Pictures, with Eric Champnella (MR. 3000) to write. The story revolves around a team of 6 highly advanced robots – created by the brilliant Professor Magus – who each have powers specific to their respective metals; Gold, Iron, Lead, Tin, Mercury and Platinum. The heroes have a dysfunctional dynamic, not unlike that of the FANTASTIC FOUR.
Lauren Shuler Donner who produces was also responsible for bringing X-MEN to the big screen, and also the Keanu Reeves movie CONSTANTINE.
