So this is some cool news! In the not too distant future, Dark Horse comics will be developing a new comic-book series based on the cult sci-fi series MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000, about a hapless human (Joel Robinson, Mike Nelson, and now Jonah Ray) and their two robot pals (Crow T. Robot and Tom Servo) watching and making fun of terrible movies.
Now, there's not much detail as to what the comic series will be about. Will it be about the lives OUTSIDE the show that we don't to see (like maybe we'll finally see how they eat and breathe!)? Or will it be them riffing on worse comic books (which would be ideal. I mean, while it's certainly a pipe dream, imagine them ripping into CIVIL WAR 2 or DARK KNIGHT STRIKES AGAIN)?
So, anyway, what do you Schmoes think? Any MST-ies out there? And if so, what shitty comic books would you like to see them riff? Sound off below!
