Phasmophobia: new update released for multiplayer ghost hunting game

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

So this is neat! Developers Kinetic Games – who are behind the popular multiplayer ghost hunting game Phasmophobia (currently in beta), where you and other players work together to try and contain malicious spirits, with the gimmick that your voice chat is distance based (meaning the farther you are in game from your teammates, the quieter your voice is) – just tweeted this awesome update out from Phasmophobia's official Twitter account:

Honestly, this seems like it's adding a whole new dimension to the gameplay, which I dig. Hopefully the developers can keep perfecting the game before it leaves beta, as this game has some real potential, especially judging by its popularity with streamers and Let's Players already!

Meanwhile, the Phasmophobia beta is currently available on PC through Steam Early Access, and supports VR.

So what do you guys think? Fans of the game? If so, how do you feel about the new update? Either way, sound off below!
