Red Notice: Johnson, Reynolds, and Gadot assemble for a new image

Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot pose for a Red Notice image

Good grief! Did it just get really hot in here? Hmm, maybe it’s this new image for Red Notice that’s going around? That must be it. After all, the photo features Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot, and you don’t get much hotter than that.

Empire Magazine has released a new look at the upcoming Netflix movie’s triple threat of actors. In the photo, we find the trio looking fashionable in what I assume is bespoke finery. They look… What’s the word I’m searching for? Expensive? I bet those jackets would fetch a pretty penny on eBay.

Directed and written by Rawson Marshall Thurber (Skyscraper, Central Intelligence), Red Notice revolves around an Interpol agent tasked with tracking down the world’s most wanted art thief. The film is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on November 12, 2021.

“I mean, talk about charisma,” Thurber told Empire during a recent interview. “I feel very, very fortunate. It’s a little bit like directorial cheating, having all three of them together in the same frame. Chemistry is just not a function of writing or even directing – it’s a function of casting. You either have it or you don’t. And those guys have something special.”

While Netflix has yet to release a trailer for what’s sure to be an action-oriented espionage adventure, Thurber did share some details about the film’s main characters. “[Dwayne plays an] FBI profiler who specializes in art crime,” Thurber explains. “He is on the hunt for Ryan Reynolds, who plays the most wanted art thief in the world. Gal Gadot plays this mysterious figure in the art world. As the say… high-jinks ensue.”

Are you looking forward to checking out Red Notice? How long do you think it takes the costume department to measure Johnson for a new suit? Will Reynolds be cracking wise throughout the film or play the part with a straight face? We’ll find out once that first trailer finally drops. Stay tuned.
