Although Adam Sandler is one of the biggest movie stars on the planet, the guy really has only made four classic films (I’lll let you folks guess what they are). Many moons have passed since I’ve been excited for a Sandler film and it looks as though many more shall pass indeed.

The first photo from his latest film entitled BEDTIME STORIES has been released online and it’s literally the dude standing with an umbrella being drenched by….candy? In the film, which is directed by Adam Shankman (HAIRSPRAY) Sandler plays a hotel handyman whose life is changed forever when the bedtime stories he tells his niece and nephew start to mysteriously come true. Although the premise doesn’t sound all that bad, I still long for Sandler to return to that primal, amoral, vulgar S.O.B we all know he’s capable of playing. The guy can do drama don’t get me wrong, but does anything beat watching him riff on sex drugs and rock n’ roll? Unfortunately we’ll have to wait a few more flicks before that hopefully happens again. Judging by the pic BELOW, this shyte is a family fair. Better luck next time, eh boys?
