Set footage from The Wolverine’s Australian shoot reveals a World War II Japanese prison camp

Here’s a quickie for those of you looking forward to James Mangold’s THE WOLVERINE, the next attempt by Fox to give us a solo Wolvie project that’s hopefully not terrible.

The first days of shooting on the film have finally gotten underway and Australia’s NEWS7 has captured some decent video of the set in the city of Kurnell. Check out the footage below where you’ll see what appears to be a WWII-era Japanese prison camp.

THE WOLVERINE opens July 26, 2013.
