SyFy releases teaser for Sharknado 5: Global Swarming

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Since the world isn't fair, and is a dark existential nightmare always on the edge of teetering into the abyss, it explains the existence of a fifth fucking SHARKNADO movie. And, look, I don't have a problem with the SHARKNADO series because they're bad movies. I've seen shit like BIRDEMIC, THE ROOM, FATEFUL FINDINGS, and A TALKING CAT?!? more times than I'd like to admit. It's that SHARKNADO is bad on purpose, which is really just another word for lazy. And even as spoof or comedy, it comes up short.

Anyway, since people for some reason demanded it, the new movie – subtitled GLOBAL SWARMING – will be coming out in a few months, so SyFy has released a new teaser for it. Let's take a look:

Well, not much new footage, but you get the gist. Sharks destroy the world in some kind of tornado – "enough said" indeed. Cue the has-been cameos, lame VFX, and even lamer jokes.

Meanwhile, SHARKNADO 5: GLOBAL SWARMING will premiere on SyFy August 6th.
