We shared the news when Allison Williams and Logan Browning joined the cast of director Richard Shepard's horror thriller THE PERFECTION at the end of 2017, then went more than a year without hearing much about it. The film did make its world premiere at Fantastic Fest last September, and if you go looking for reactions from that screening you'll see reviewers praising it as twisted, shocking, stylish, well-acted, tense, and brutal.

Luckily, we'll have a chance to see THE PERFECTION soon, as Netflix will be giving it a global release through their streaming network in just two months.

Entertainment reporter Germain Lussier sent a tweet out with the information that THE PERFECTION will be making its Netflix debut on May 24th and said the film will be stirring up discussions among viewers. This definitely sounds like it will be worth checking out when Netflix makes it available.

Written by Richard Shepard, Eric Charmelo, and Nicole Snyder, THE PERFECTION is about

two cello prodigies and a sinister obsession that drives the dark pursuit of perfection.

The cast also includes Steven Weber, who has previously appeared in genre projects like SINGLE WHITE FEMALE, Masters of Horror: Jenifer, and the mini-series version of Stephen King's The Shining.

Shepard produced THE PERFECTION with Stacey Reiss and Miramax's Bill Block.
