The stakes are higher in the Season 7 trailer for The Flash

When the COVID-19 shutdown hit in March, all shows had to find a way to end their seasons prematurely. The CW series The Flash ended with the 19th episode, leaving the partially filmed 20th episode to become the basis for the start of season 7. This new trailer, which debuted at DC FanDome today, is made up mostly of footage from that single episode.

The Flash remains the longest running Arrowverse series since Arrow concluded last season and this upcoming season, tentatively set to premiere in January, will continue to improve on the narrative that improved in season six. New characters as well as the use of the Mirror Universe plot device, are on display here and show a lot of potential for what comes next.
