Vin Diesel discusses physique plans for the next Riddick movie

We’re not entirely certain what filmmaker David Twohy and star Vin Diesel have planned when RIDDICK returns, but we’re apparently going to see varying shapes of the intergalactic badass.

As Diesel himself recently updated on his bewilderingly popular Facebook page:

So the director of Riddick, my partner on COR since the beginning, DT… has a new challenge in store. He wants me to have 3 different body looks for this next chapter…

There is the DiNorscio type, the Dom type, and the lean Furyan type… but all in the same movie, haha…

When it comes to art, we all like a challenge.

P.s. We will hit Our next Milestone… but, what day?

Enigmatic, but based on previous reports about the third movie’s early draft, this could mean we’ll see these differing Riddicks in the “present” (as a fugitive being hunted by mercs), and perhaps in flashbacks both in his distant Furyan past and then later getting closure on that whole Necromonger situation. Unless, of course, Diesel and Twohy have since reworked the story completely…

Whatever the case, it appears that there’s some progress on the new RIDDICK, which should be good news for fans of the goggled space bastard. Diesel next shows up stomping the accelerator yet again in FAST FIVE.
