Dark Sky Shivers

Just a couple days ago I showed you all the trailer to the Spanish film ESKALOFRIO (SHIVER). The trailer was pretty cool too, giving us a decent look at what the flick will be like.

It had some thrills, some suspense, and some horror all mixed into one. I’m definately down for that. Well we got word today that Dark Sky Films have scored the rights to SHIVER here in North America, so this one will be coming to us soon!

SHIVER is about a lonely adolescent who moves with his mother to an isolated village. There, a series of odd events shock the community. It stars Jimmy Barnatán, Paul Berrondo, Josep Maria Domènech, Roberto Enríquez, Andrés Herrera, Blanca Martínez, Berta Ros, Mar Sodupe, Blanca Suárez (below), and Junio Valverde with Isidro Ortiz directing while also being one of the writers alongside Hernán Migoya, José Gamo, and Alejandro Hernández.

So if you’ve been following SHIVER, and more importantly if you’ve been digging what we’ve seen so far, this is great news. No word on any release dates, but we’ll keep you updated.
